DJ Philly Phil
Phil spent his younger years growing up in a small community in Oklahoma. A good churchgoer, he began his path towards the ministry in the Nazarene church by attending Southern Nazarene University. Upon entering adulthood, he found himself addicted to drugs and alcohol. Over the next 12 years, Phil would endure the trials and tribulations of addiction. It wasn’t until the age of 30, that he was able to find a Solution in the 12 Steps.
Since then, Phil has worked in the field of recovery in many different capacities. Most recently, he launched his own online business (also in the recovery industry) to culminate where he is today. Hailing from South Florida now, Phil spends most of his time developing more online mediums to reach those who are afflicted by the disease of addiction and alcoholism. He is a small business owner who has a passion for life and recovery. He has been sober since early 2005 and continues to explore through his journey by finding more ways to have fun in recovery. While not working or on the air, Phil enjoys surfing and spending time with his two Cockapoos, Jake and Gracie. His latest addiction is DJ Hero on the Nintendo Wii.
